Simi-Simi Airport : ウィキペディア英語版 | Simi-Simi Airport
Simi-Simi is the original airport of the city of Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly called ''Stanleyville''. In the turbulent times of Congo's independence and the subsequent struggles, it was the city's only airport, and thus was the scene of severe fighting during the Simba Rebellion and the associated operation ''Dragon Rouge'' in 1964. Situated close to the city, with its runway pointing straight at the centre, most of its traffic has moved to Bangoka International Airport; Simi-Simi is officially become a military airfield, though also serving humanitarian flights and some private operations. ==References== 〔
